Sponsor a Youth Program

Let’s be honest, 2020 saw a major pause in our progress, but it hasn’t stopped us.

One of our big projects was the opening of our second location at the Capitol Square Mall on the Eastside part of San Jose.

There were a number of reasons why we chose that space; it provided a home coming of sorts and was certainly more convenient for many of you to train at this location.  (And some of our top guys like Eastside Nick, Trevor and Bobby all grew up in the area.

We have bigger plans to build up our Youth Program here, and we were set up to be working with San Jose Mayor’s Gang Prevention Task Force to be working with At-Risk Youth.

We have actually had quite a history of working with San Jose’s youth through rec center programs, summer camps and more since we opened our doors.

Aside from the benefits that we feel that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu can provide to everyone and developing life skills off of the mats, we truly believed that the area has a lot of untapped potential for champions on the mat as well.

We are in the process of setting up a non-profit for this, (although 501c3 status takes time for approval).

Covid 19 might have thrown a monkey wrench in our plans, but going into 2021 we feel that programs like ours are more in need than ever.
Since today is giving Tuesday we thought it was an appropriate time to announce the start of our Youth Sponsorship program.  We are looking to build up a Youth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Competition Team.  The process has actually started already, and we envision this being a huge thing in years to come.

If you want to support, we have sponsorship opportunities available here.

In addition, if you want to sign up or gift and Adult Membership to Heroes, you can follow the same link.

We’ve planted our flag in San Jose, and are determined to continue to serve our community.

Thanks so much for the continued support!
