Janet Borbon to make her MMA debut this Sunday May 28 at Combate Global. The event will be broadcast on Paramount+
Janet Borbon is currently the #1 ranked Muay Thai Fighter in the United States and ranked #3 in the World via the World Games in 2022. Representing AKA (American Kickboxing Academy) the East San Jose native also holds the rank of Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from Heroes Martial Arts and always seeking a new challenge, Janet is looking to test her skills in Mixed Martial Arts at the Combat Global Event, which has a show in Miami featuring a bantamweight title fight between David Martinez and Jose Zarauz. The live Paramount+ stream of Combate Global’s world championship event on Sunday will begin with a 30-minute pre-show, beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET and will continue with the live fight action at 6 p.m. ET.
